The question of application the law naval warfare during non-international armed conflict (NIAC) at sea is still an area uncharted waters. Some discussion on matter surfaced in reaction to Israeli blockades against Hamas and Hezbollah applicability blockade NIAC, mainly limited noting possible other historical examples.
